Paul - kalbs liked your model and the instruction sheet you provided.  :)

Here is his drawing for the gun.  He still has to design a cradle and then build it.  What is taking so long  :p .  (Just kidding of course).  :;):

He has a sense of detail, hey?  Look at the German eagle at the bottom of the drawing.  They look like they were taken from a factory at war's end.

What!!!! I just finished helping to pay for the Kubel and now you are going to get me involved in another vehicle project?

Well.....ok.  I suppose I need something to spend my disposable trucker income on.   Sheeesh, what next, a Stuka?

Great work on the model Paul, she looks great and hopefully the replicated one will look as nice.

Let Paul paint it, so as to replicate the aged, weathered look!!

And Stukas fall under Luftwaffe control, so you better talk to me about that :D

EJ! You've probably seen this....It's some photos of a 222 under restoration!! It is interesting that the 20mm is not attached to the turret, but the other way around ???

http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/3620/sdkfz222.htm

I believe it is the 222 in the Jacques Littlefield collection!! He is restoring a Panther as we speak.

Here's a link to a story and some photos of his collection.

Here is another link with some better photos. The Panther is really coming along!!

We need to get Jacques interested in Airsoft :D

Might be easier than you think.  See that stack of MP40s in the third photograph of your last link?

Kalbs has been a busy bee.  Here is a little detail drawing he did for us.  He plans on providing full measurement drawings of all the panels which I don't have to tell you will be extremely useful to the builder.  I won't be advertising those as we plan to offer a set of drawings to recoup some of his development time.  But with drawings showing measurements I can fabricate cardboard mock-ups for the welder.

The profile looks nice and low and with the grenade screens added will look perfect.  As I said, I have the turret drawings in more detail with measurements and will get started on the cardboard/platistruk mock-up.  Thanks Kalbs!  :)

PS - I lost some resolution on the scanning and re-posting of the graphic.  His picture to me was sharper.

try this link for clear picture: Ersatzjack's 222 side elevations

Herr Ersatzjack,

The top, front and rear views plus panels are near being completly drawn as well.  The armor body plate sheets need to be dimensioned still but are drawn.
