It's that time of the year when I like to hold a Russian Sewing Party and Unit Meeting. We need to pick a date and location. We can work in my parents basement in Neillsville again unless someone wants to host the location. A Sat. or Sun. in late Jan. or Feb?  We need to pick the items to work on: shirts? grenades? any ideas?
The unit meeting will be to talk about the MOA  April Neillsville 2 day airsoft event and the "Mil-Sim/Rayan Jopp" event that I would like to host. We can work on our modern Russian team uniform for the Mil-Sim events.

Send me a email or PM with your ideas.

I'll try to make it down this year, but I have Drill January 22-23 and February 26-27, so anything but those dates work for me.

Keep us in the loop on Jopp's milsim event.  I want to see what happens with that.

Yeah, I'd be up for a sewing bee/planning meeting (including the modern stuff).  I've been curious to see if I can figure out how to make some of the Mosin mag bandoleers.  Won't know what dates I'll be available until after the spring semester starts, though.

I'll see if I can make it-also, my new recruit Alex has a shirt (more of a tunic-he found a great-looking piece at Goodwill) he hopes to make into a proper WWII Russian tunic. I'm sure he'd appreciate pointers on what he'd need to do to convert it.

UPDATE

This past weekend three of us talked about projects for our sewing event. We have added RPG construction for our Mil-Sim and Panzerfuast contruction for our WW 2 airsoft. We will also talk about some battlefield work weekends.

PS: Todd, could you put together a shopping list of parts and a basic how-to-guild for construction of a Panzerfaust?  I believe I have 3 more C02 quick changers.
