Merry Christmas to all of you MOA members.  I wanted to share some photos of the gift my daughter gave to me for Christmas.  I thought it was really thoughtful.  She had spent some time on militaria sites and she bought me stuff for camp.  In particular I received a period billfold filled with money, a few photos, ticket stubs, theatre stubs, train station receipts, etc.  Some coins too.  She also got me a deck of Skat cards, a game that the German soldatens enjoyed and bought me some old German, Russian and Polish money.  There's also a date book in there with some german writing and all in all, I thought the gift was pretty swell.

that is a neat gift for sure! The paper items, personal stuff, and original photo's can be the most fun to collect.

Yes, very nice indeed!  Originals should of course be kept safe, but some high resolution reproductions of various denominations of currency could make for some great gambling scenes back in camp. :;): (or possibly a briefcase full of them as an objective ??? )
I need a new printer.

I found an ebay seller dealing in vintage watches.  Take a look: http://shop.ebay.com/merchan....Q_mdoZ.  For those of you with firefox I would get the ebay sniper add on.

8th Regiment, shoulder board insignia. They are crude...but that was the look I was going for. There are six available at the moment, with more to come. If one notices, I have made a special camouflage pair, which might work for a sniper impression. :)
Just a side note, I sincerely apologize for the picture quality.
